Looking at a window that only suggests the need to see beyond one’s own space; a suggestion of the need of the other, of the encounter outside one’s culture.
The beginning of a quest for answers to questions which cannot be answered at home.
What can you see out the window? Illustrate with a photo.
In the juxtaposition of the two windows in the picture, the real window is put to the side of the surreal window-in-the-wall. The functional window may offer a view of the outside and let the outside in; the metaphorical window carries the mind beyond.
In terms of spaces of encounters, this could be seen as a non-space where here, there and elsewhere meet.
